Unfortunately, the first two game winning streak in Os' history was not to be. The Os played solid but unspectacular basketball in the first half against Beer Run (in the running for best opponent team name, by the way). By the end of the half, they trailed 21-13.

Despite the slow start, they came out with good hustle and amazing defense in the second half. Beer Run could not score a single point over the first 7 minutes of the half. However, it was not an effective shooting game for the Os. They followed up their franchise record for highest shooting percentage (41.9%) with a poor 19% performance. Despite their shortcomings, the Os had the lead down to four points (25-21) with 7 minutes to play in the game. Unfortunately, the rally fell short and the Os could not get any closer, ultimately falling 38-29.

Roster Guard exhibited the "O-phy curse" and had a subpar game, but several Os played well. The O-phy voting came down to E-Bomb's 9 points and 10 rebounds versus Steve-O's 2 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and countless should'a assists. Fittingly, Steve-O took home the award. In the words of one anonymous voter, "I vote for Steven because... this weekend we have my sister's wedding reception @ our house + we're having 80 people over. I want everyone to see the Ophy on our mantle! Um, plus I think Steven did a great job with those 2 points :)"
