The Os played one of their better games of the year against the Bulls. Although Michael Jordan was not able to make the game, the Os still did not have quite enough firepower to overcome the Bulls. The Os were close for most of the game, always staying close, but never quite able to take the lead. As the second half was winding down, the Os were behind only 29-23. Unfortunately they could not hit the big shots to close the margin. As time wound down, the Os hustled and kept the game close, ultimately being dealt the final knockout on a quick whistle for a technical foul. Although stats are not kept on technicals, it's believed to be only the fifth technical ever received by an O.

Guest commentator Milton Johnson's postgame analysis centered around the Os lack of outside shooting. He pointed out that the defense was collapsing into the middle against the Os and the Os needed a shooter to open the middle up. His thoughts were closely mirrored by the stats, which showed the Os going 0 for 12 on 3 point attempts. The Os also went 3 for 12 on free throws, fueled in part by the Giant's team record of 9 free throw attempts.

With the outside shooters having a cold night, big roles were played by Steve-O, the Giant, and E-Bomb. Steve-O went on a hot shooting run to end the first half and keep the Os in the game. He finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds. The Giant posted 7 points and 13 rebounds. E-Bomb chipped in with 7 points and 6 rebounds. However, the first awarding of the O-phy (see upcoming news story) went to Duggo for making the O-phy.
