In a game where the best descriptive adjective would have to be U-G-L-Y, the Os persevered for a big win over Sub! The game was close throughout. Sub! came out determined to stop the Os (winners of 4 of their 5 previous games). It was 20-17 Os at the half.

The Os came out in the second half and just could not pull away. The shots would not go down, as the Os would only shoot 23% for the game. The plethora of misses left a lot of rebounds available, and the Os managed to post 19 offensive boards (including career highs for Roster Guard and Mr. Avocado). The closeness of the game helped to build the tension and the skepticism of the referees using a coin flip to decide calls. The Os were trailing in the final minute when Mr. Avocado sunk a clutch 3 to put the Os in the lead for good.<\p>

The overall lackluster performance led to an interesting Ophy upset in which Mr. Smooth, despite being the only O not to score took home the Ophy for his statistical update. Sasha also put in a solid performance, taking home 2 votes with her innovative “Vote for Sasha” campaign. Roster Guard did not secure any votes despite his 15 points and clutch passing (4 assists). Mr. Avocado apparently did not campaign hard enough and his 3 votes were not enough, despite the game winner (but he would get revenge the following week).
