Looking to get back to their winning ways after their first loss of 2007, the Os put in a poor performance against Climbing the Hill. The tone for the game was set on one of the first plays when, after scoring the Os’ first basket, The Giant sprained his ankle getting back on defense. The Os had trouble stringing together many baskets. They got off to a reasonable start in the first half, trailing only 23-18, but had trouble stopping that one guy who shot their 3’s.

In the second half, the Os were able to mount several rallies, but never quite closed the gap to a winnable distance. The disappointing game ended with a final score of Climbing the Hill 39 to the Os’ 28.

Several performances became central to the Ophy voting. Although E-Bomb pulled in a career high 13 rebounds, his Ophy campaign was crippled by his win the week before. The Giant pulled in some votes for his 2 points in 2 minutes performance (with a rebound and a steal). Mr. Smooth’s 6 points and 4 rebounds also merited a few votes. Regardless, the winner was The Neil/Shaq O’Neil/Roster Guard with 14 points (half of the Os’ total) and a career high 5 offensive rebounds.
